Celebrating our 20th year! 1998 – 2018
Engaging kids with fun, God-centered music and activities since 1998.
KSMC is a place where kids can discover their talents and experience God’s love while having a great time. A ministry of Faith Assembly in North Fort Myers, KSMC is a week-long event for kids entering Kindergarten through 6th grade. Your child will learn and perform an entire musical.
On Sunday following camp, the kids will perform the entire musical, complete with staging, lighting, drama, solos, ensembles and the KSMC choir, for friends and family. The performance is free and open to the public.
A Great Value
KSMC remains one of the most affordable day camps in Lee County. Your registration includes a camp t-shirt and a CD (one per family) of the musical to be performed. Registration is $60 for the initial camper and $50.00 for each additional sibling (must reside in the same household). Online registration closes at midnight, Sunday, June 24, but walk-in registrations are welcome the morning of the first day of camp (June 25).
- Sack lunch each day and a snack, ready to eat and does not need to be refrigerated or heated.
- Sneakers are the preferred foot wear, especially for gym activities.
- Shorts or long pants (if dresses are worn, shorts must be worn underneath).
We ask that campers not bring electronic devices to camp. KSMC is not responsible for lost, stolen or broken devices. In the event your child needs to contact you, a member of the staff will be able to assist them. Staff will hold any electronic devices that are brought to camp and will be returned at pick-up at the end of the day.
Except for our daily chapel event, campers play, rehearse, and create in age-appropriate groups, Kindergarten through 2nd grade and 3rd through 6th grade. Schedules, activities, and pace are specifically designed for each group.
At KSMC your child’s safety is our primary concern. Teams are not competitive but serve to assure your child has more than adequate staff supervision, especially when moving to a different activity. We work very hard to have a balance of ages and personalities (when known) on each team and to give campers the chance to make new friends during the week. Specific team requests greatly complicate this process.
Except for Monday morning when each camper needs to be signed in by a parent or legal guardian, campers can be dropped off from your vehicle underneath the portico beginning at 8:00 am.
We provide multiple placards that include the names of your campers for a safe and expedient retrieval of your camper at the close of camp each day.
If you do not have a placard you will be asked to show a photo ID and it will be checked against an authorized pick-up list.
Because of the growing number of kids with dietary issues and allergies KSMC does not provide snacks at camp. We ask parents to provide a snack with their child’s lunch each day.
Due to potential dietary restrictions and allergies of other campers we do not allow the sharing of treats (i.e. cupcakes, birthday cake, etc.) during camp. Please also note that due to the full schedule of daily activities, we can not honor any requests for special individual celebrations.
“We are so grateful that the people of Faith Assembly take the time to invest in these kids, I know it is exhausting but it is so worth it! Thank you!”
“This camp is the best experience and most enjoyable activity of the summer! We look forward to it every year.”
“This is a high quality, well run program for which my child has loved to attend the last two years… We will be back!”
