“She is energetic and strong, a hard worker.”

“She always faces tomorrow with a smile.” (MSG)

Yes, these words are about the Proverbs 31 woman. While we are not all women, we can all absolutely still make application. Throughout this week we will face days that are harder than others. Some mornings it’s difficult to smile; some nights it’s difficult to sleep knowing what the next day holds.

I don’t believe for a moment that her life was without difficulty. I believe her attitude determines her ability. Her attitude was based in her faith and not shaped by day-to-day circumstances. She chose. She chose to face the day with a smile and enthusiasm. This decision set her on a productive course and allowed her to accomplish much.

So where is the application? Our KSMC purpose is putting “kids first”; kids first for the Kingdom. Will I choose to work enthusiastically, with a smile, for that purpose? My answer is YES!

I ask you to pray for each other. Encourage each other in this area. Can you imagine what camp will be like if we do?
